She was just walking down the high street in Holloway, and some bloke on a bike snatched her hand bag. It sounded like a pretty frightening experience actually, and I must admit that it scared me a bit. I am forever walking down the high street just very gently hanging on to my handbag. In the future, I think that I will be a lot more careful and hang on to my bag that little bit more.
Having her handbag stolen was one thing, the other thing was the attitude of the police. My friend here at Holloway escorts from https://charlotteaction.org/holloway-escorts went to the police straight away, and asked for some help. They encouraged my friend to make a statement but they did not have the resources to go out there and look for the guy on the bike. My friend got a crime number and that was it, she was told to go home and claim on her home insurance.
To be honest, I don’t that is good enough. Like some of my friends here Holloway escorts said, it seems that we are becoming accepting of crime, or rather the police are becoming too accepting of crime. When you look at what happened, it is actually rather disgusting and the police should really be taking some sort of action. Of course, my friend went home and cancelled all her cards straight away, but that is not the point. They should really be making more of an effort to protect people.
I think that we have become too complacent when it comes to crime. I know that the local police may not think that it was a big crime but that does not really matter. What matters is that a lot of the crime that goes on, carries on unchallenged. The girls here at Holloway escorts are just going about their business and getting robbed. Is that okay? I don’t think that is okay at all and I think that we are sending the message to the criminal that crime is okay.
Crime is not okay under any circumstances and we should really be a lot more careful about are attitude. My friend here at Holloway escorts went back to the police a couple of weeks later and asked if they had heard anything. The only thing is they said was that they had not had the handbag handed in, and could not see the crime on CCTV. If that is the case, I really don’t think that they are doing their job properly. If police cannot investigate a crime properly, I think that we are wasting our time with them and that they have become too complacent when it comes to crime. If we ignore what they call minor crime, there will come a day when we will also ignore major crime. I am sure that a lot of people may not think that one handbag is a big deal, but that means that we are also becoming complacent.…
